About Video

This video is a case of postcataract surgery suprachoroidal hemorrhage. 23G vitrectomy done and heavy fluid PFCL injected to push suprachoroidal hematoma from inside. A 23G trocar-cannula complex introduced obliquely 10 to 15 mm posterior to the limbus into suprachoroidal space according to the maximum height of elevation on USG and trocar removed to drain blood. IOP was kept high from 40 to 70 mm Hg. External passively blood drainage through 23G cannula was possible in a suture less way. Multiple 23G sclerotomies made for more complete removal of suprachoroidal hemorrhage. PFCL removed and fluid-air exchange done. Silicone oil was used for constant endotamponade.
