About Video

It was also a case of giant retinal tear with choroidal detachment. There was difficulty in introducing trocar-cannula due to soft eye. Tip of infusion cannula was not visible. Saline was injected into the vitreous cavity to raise IOP. Trocar-cannula was introduced for left-handed port and trocar was removed. Endoilluminator was introduced through the cannula and tip of infusion cannula was seen in suprachoroidal space. Now this endoilluminator tip was used to separate the choroidal layers from the tip of infusion cannula to make it intravitreal. Now infusion was made on and right-handed trocar cannula was introduced then vitrectomy was started.
