About Video

This video demonstrates a case of status post silicone oil removal with recurrent RD with extensive ERM formation with fixed folds with new breaks at the posterior pole. Triamcinolone assisted membrane peeling was started with end gripping forceps. All new breaks were marked with cautery. There was anterior PVR at nasal periphery. PVR membranes were peeled with end gripping forceps. Any tiny missed break should always be looked for. Fluid-air exchange was done to settle retina. Laser barrage was done around all the breaks. Silicone oil injection is necessary for adequate tamponade.
