About Video

In this video long process of incus which is minimally necrosed can be sculpted into a long enough shaft like prominence that is placed on footplate rather than the short process as in previous technique. The short process which is usually longer and more sturdy than the necrosed long process is used to cover the distance between footplate and handle of malleus. For that a deep groove is drilled on the superior surface of short process near its tip which goes under handle of malleus.
