Stereotypy refers to a movement disorder where there is repetitive stereotyped movements in a subject. This young girl had been suffering from tuberculoma in the brain and she presented with rocking movement of the body, repetitive brushing of the nose and compulsive touching at the operation site, to the extent that she made a dent there. Treatment with anti-tuberculous drugs and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors led to complete amelioration of the movements.
