About Video

This video demonstrates the robotic reversal of tubal sterilization. Although tubal sterilization procedures are considered to be permanent, requests for reversal of the procedure are not infrequent. The reversal procedure can be done either by open laparotomy or by minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic or robotic approach). Patients going through tubal reversal will go to the outpatient surgery center and have a small incision made through which your surgeon will repair your fallopian tubes. The surgery usually takes 1 hour to complete.
